Vishti Karan (Bhadra) yog is a big dosha in the horoscope. The persons born under the Vishti Karan has the Vishti Yog Dosha. Vishti Karan also known as Bhadra Karan is considered very inauspicious. Bhadra is the Daughter of Surya and the Sister of Shani.

As per the Vedic Astrology, the Karan is considered to be a very important aspect of the Panchang. There is total 11 Karanas and each Tithi is made up of two Karanas. 7 out of 11 Karnas are Bav, Balav, Kaulav, Taitil, Gar, Vanij, Vishti Karan are called Char Karan, and other 4 Karnas Shakuni, Chatushpada, Nag and Kistughna are called Sthira or Dhruva Karan.

इस पूजा के महत्‍व

करण, पंचांग के पांच अंगों में से एक विशिष्ट अंग होता है. प्रत्येक तिथि दो करणों से मिलकर बनती है. और कुल 11 करण होते हैं. इनमें से 7 करण; बव, बालव, कौलव, तैतिल, गर, वणिज, विष्टि करण; चर करण कहलाते है, और अन्य 4 करण; शकुनि, चतुष्पाद, नाग और किस्तुघ्न; स्थिर या ध्रुव करण कहलाते हैं. कुछ करण शुभ होते हैं तो कुछ अशुभ होते हैं. ज्योतिषशास्त्र में विष्टि करण (भद्रा ) शुभ नहीं माना जाता है. भद्रा में जन्म भी शुभ नहीं माना जाता है। भद्रा में जन्म लेने वाले बच्चे को जिंदगी में काफी मुसीबतें उठाना पड़ती है। विष्टि करण में जन्मा जातक, कठोर भाषी और स्वास्थ्य के लिहाज से परेशानियां गलत बातों की ओर जल्द ही आकर्षित होता है. व्यर्थ के विवाद में फंसना अपने स्वभाव के कारण दूसरों के साथ द्वेष मोल लेना जातक के व्यवहार में दिखाई देता है. लोगों के साथ बहुत अधिक घुलना-मिलना व्यक्ति को पसंद नहीं आता है. दूसरों की वस्तु को पाने के लिए ललायित रहता है. अपने विरोधी से बदलना लेने के लिए किसी भी हद तक जा सकता है.
