मंगल दोष: यदि किसी व्यक्ति की कुंडली के लग्न भाव, चतुर्थ भाव, सप्तम भाव, अष्टम भाव, द्वादश भाव में मंगल स्थित हो तो कुंडली में मंगल दोष होता है। जब लग्न में ये स्थिति होती है तो जातक का स्वभाव अत्यधिक तेज, गुस्सैल, और अहंकारी होता है। चतुर्थ में मंगल जीवन में सुखों में कमी करता है और पारिवारिक जीवन में कठिनाइयां आती हैं।
काल सर्प दोष : जब किसी व्यक्ति की कुंडली में सभी ग्रह राहु और केतु के बीच में आ जाते हैं तो इस योग को काल सर्प दोष का नाम दिया जाता है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि जिस व्यक्ति की कुंडली में यह दोष लग जाता है उसे सफलता बहुत देरी से मिलती और जातक को हर काम में बाधा का सामना करना पड़ता है।
पितृ दोष योग: किसी जातक की कुंडली में लग्नेश यदि छठे, आठवें या बारहवें भाव में स्थित है और राहु लग्न में है तब यह पितृ दोष का योग होता है. जन्म कुण्डली के पहले, दूसरे, चौथे, पांचवें, सातवें, नौवें या दसवें भाव में यदि सूर्य-राहु या सूर्य-शनि एक साथ स्थित हों तब यह भी पितृ दोष माना जाता है. व्यक्ति की कुण्डली में पितृ दोष ऎसा दोष है जो सब दु:खों को एक साथ देने की क्षमता रखता है.
शनि की साढ़े साती: जब शनि किसी जातक की जन्मराशि से द्वादश या प्रथम या द्वितीय स्थान में होते हैं तो यह स्थिति शनि की साढ़े साती कहलाती है। इस अवस्था में शनि जातक को मानसिक कष्ट, शारीरिक कष्ट और गृह-क्लेश का सामना कराते हैं। शनि एक राशि में करीब ढाई साल तक रहते हैं।
मूल नक्षत्र में जन्म: मान्यता है कि इस नक्षत्र में जब जन्म होता है तो उसका सीधा प्रभाव जातक की सेहत व स्वभाव पर पड़ता है। मूल नक्षत्र में जन्म लेने वाले बच्चे को कुछ समय तक परेशानियां होती हैं। इसलिए इन नक्षत्रों का ज्यादा प्रभाव बच्चों पर न पड़े इसके लिए ग्रह-नक्षत्रों के लिए शांति के लिए पूजा की जाती है.
